Donna Maria Blancero is the Senior Vice President of Research & Intellectual Development for the National Society of Hispanic MBAs (NSHMBA) and the founding editor of The Business Journal of Hispanic Research.  She earned her Ph.D. in Industrial and Labor Relations from Cornell University.  Active with the National Society of Hispanic MBAs for more than 15 years, she was the Chair of the Board in 2004-2005.  As a Fellow of the Carnegie Foundation for the Advancement of Teaching, Donna actively pursues innovative techniques inside and outside the classroom. She is a faculty member at the UCLA Anderson Latino Leadership Institute.  Previously, she was on the faculty at the W. P. Carey School of Business and a Research Faculty Affiliate of the Hispanic Research Center, both at Arizona State University.  She is also the immediate past president for the Management Faculty of Color Association (MFCA) and a member of the executive committee for the Gender & Diversity in Organizations (GDO) division of the Academy of Management.  Donna was recently appointed to the Board of Directors for the Alzheimer's Association of Hudson Valley.

With more than 40 publications and dozens of national presentations, Donna's expertise focuses on Latinos in Corporate America, in particular with their experiences with regard to mentoring, developmental networks, work family balance, gender differences, discrimination, fair treatment and psychological contracts.  Most recently, she is working on research involving Hispanic Millennials.  Her most recent publication on Perceptions of Psychological Contract Fairness of Hispanic Professionals, in Cross Cultural Management won the Emerald Literati Award for Outstanding Publication in this journal for 2008.

Donna is a native New Yorker and an amateur genealogist, belonging to the Puerto Rican Hispanic Genealogical Society.
