Driving Directions from Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport:
  • Head Northwest on Glumack Dr
  • Slight left to stay on Glumack Dr
  • Take the MN-55 E/MN-5 W ramp to Minneapolis
  • Merge onto MN-5 E
  • Take the State Hwy 55 W/State Hwy 55 E exit toward Hastings/Minneapolis
  • Keep left at the fork, follow signs for Minneapolis/MN-5 W and merge onto MN-55
  • Take the Hiawatha Ave/MN-55 W/ Minnihaha Ave exit
  • Keep right at the fork to continue toward Hiawatha Ave/MN-55 and merge onto Hiawatha Ave/MN-55 
  • Take the ramp onto I-94 W
  • Take exit 233A to merge onto S 11th St
  • Turn left at 2nd Ave S
  • Make a U-turn
  • Minneapolis Convention Center will be on the right.
 
Terminal Complex:
Minneapolis-St. Paul International Airport has two full-service terminals: the Lindbergh Terminal and the Humphrey Terminal. Your airline ticket may abbreviate the name listing Terminal L for Lindbergh Terminal and Terminal H for Humphrey Terminal. To determine which terminal your flight will arrive at or depart from, please visit our passenger airlines page for a complete list of the airlines serving each terminal. If you find yourself at the incorrect terminal building, you can take the light rail transit at no charge between terminals. The Light Rail transit runs every 7 to 8 minutes during peak hours and every 10 to 15 minutes at other times of the day.
 
Getting There:

Taxis service is available through the Lindbergh Terminal's ground transportation atrium and is accessible via the Tram level or the Humphrey Terminal's ground transport Center located on level one of the parking ramp.

  • Taxi Service from MSP International to downtown Minneapolis have fares averaging  from $32-$44 (subject to change without notice)
  • Super Shuttle is available to and from the MSP International Airport; ticket counters are located in the Lindbergh Terminal's ground transportation Atrium accessible via the terminal's Tram Level.
  • Metro Transit Bus service to the Twin Cities metropolitan area is available at the Lindbergh Terminal's transit center.
The Minneapolis-St. Paul Ground Transportation Information The Tram Level information booth is staffed seven days a week from 7am - 11:30pm Staff provides information, directions and other assistance to travelers.
 
The Super Shuttle
The Super Shuttle is the easiest and most cost-effective way to get to and from the airport, office or hotel. They are the nation's leading shared-ride airport shuttle, providing door-to-door ground transportation to more than 8 million passengers per year. The Light Rail Transit
The Light rail transit is available from both Minneapolis-St. Paul International terminals and it connects to 15 other destinations, including downtown Minneapolis in about 25 minutes and the Mall of America in about 11 minutes. Light Rail fares for adults are $2.25 during rush hours (Monday-Friday, 6-9am and 3-6:30p) and $1.75 at other times.
