CMA Recognition Dinner

All Annual Conference attendees are cordially invited to attend the CMA Recognition Dinner being held on Sunday evening, June 6. Please join us as we celebrate the CMA program, recognize those who have earned the CMA, and connect with those who are in the process of becoming certified. Current CMAs are encouraged to share their certification experience with CMA candidates. In addition to giving an update on the CMA Program, ICMA will present the Examination Awards and the ICMA Board of Regents Chapter Awards. Share what should be an excellent dinner with old friends and meet new ones on the journey to certification! Brown Bag Discussion Lunch (1.5 CPE)

Participate in this interactive and informal roundtable session that facilitates learning, the exchange of ideas, and networking. The Brown Bag Discussion Lunch features approximately 50 topics, one assigned to each roundtable of nine participants and a facilitator. Ninety (90) minutes have been allotted to enable attendees to enjoy lunch and engage in a topic of their choice.

Be adventurous. Meet new friends and colleagues at the edge of the waterfront for a Networking Reception and Dinner at the Maryland Science Center. For only $35 per person, you can enjoy breathtaking views of Baltimore’s skyline and the famed Inner Harbor as well as private access to the hands-on exhibits Your Body: The Inside Story and Dinosaur Mysteries. A portion of the registration cost will be donated to one of the various Maryland Science Center Educational Programs. Attendance is limited, so register early!

IMA Women’s Leadership Forum
Monday, June 7, 5:15 p.m. – 6:45 p.m.
This reception is a “must attend” for all members who want to become more involved in IMA leadership activities to promote and advance the global profession of management accounting, a profession that has a direct and growing impact on business performance and economic development. The purpose of the forum is to encourage increased engagement of women in IMA programs and initiatives through networking, leadership development activities, research, advocacy, education, and more. Leadership attributes and issues are similar for men and women, but with a majority of new entrants into our profession being women, it is important to acknowledge and respect varying gender applications of leadership attributes in practice. Hear how inspiring women and men who are active and highly respected leaders in IMA have fostered open and collaborative environments as they engage in IMA leadership activities-and together, advance the profession.
